We are a young, dynamic, and growing team. We are looking for a Financial Controller & Office Administrator to oversee the company's financial control, support administrative management, and contribute to internal reporting processes.
SparkWave Energy is a Portuguese company dedicated to the development and investment of renewable energy generation projects. As part of an international group owned by a fund managed by Octopus Energy Generation, we are accelerating the energy transition by developing sustainable projects across Portugal. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Control, HR & Sustainability
- Support the preparation, monitoring, and control of budgets and costs;
- Monitor cash flow, payments, and collections;
- Collect, organize, and analyze financial information;
- Prepare financial reports and KPIs for management;
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and other service providers;
- Manage contracts, invoices, and financial documentation;
- Prepare monthly information to support payroll processing;
- Organize and manage internal HR-related administrative processes;
- Collect, validate, and organize ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) data;
- Support the implementation and monitoring of internal sustainability and compliance policies and procedures.
Administration & Office Management
- Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems;
- Manage documentation and coordinate document signatures;
- Organize and update internal databases and company records;
- Provide administrative support across different business functions;
- Arrange business travel and accommodation;
- Manage the company vehicle fleet;
- Coordinate office suppliers and facility management services;
- Support the organization of internal meetings and company events.
Candidate Profile
- Higher Professional Technical Course (CTeSP) or Bachelor's degree in Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field;
- 2–5 years of professional experience in financial controlling, reporting, administrative management, or similar roles;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications;
- Good command of English, both written and spoken;
- Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively;
- Proactive, autonomous, and highly responsible;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP or business management software;
- Advanced proficiency in English.
